2008 !!!
“Go Vertical” supports the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. Registration is still $90 this year and the climb takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2008 (start time is determined the week or so before the climb, but it tends to be early…)
2008 will be the sixth annual race to
the top of the Sears Tower, the tallest building in the USA and the longest urban stairclimb in the world! The Sears Tower is 103 floors, 2,109 steps – almost 500 more steps than the Hancock!This is Kari’s Klimbers fifth year climbing the Sears Tower. We don’t have the same hoopla as the Hancock – we don’t focus on fundraising (although it’s a very good cause…) We don’t do t-shirts or anything else. We just show up and climb. Last year there were around 15 of us.
Please Note: Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation internalized their web registration this year. It is an incredible cost savings for them – but it is not as “slick” as the prior Convivo or Kintera vendors, but they have been working with me, and working on the site – if you note any problems, please contact me and I will address it with DRCRF.

Upon completion – make certain you verify your name is on the “Team Members” roster at the bottom of the page… You can go directly to the Kari’s Klimbers team page here… Make certain you verify you are on the Kari’s Klimbers team roster – I had initial problems with my first registrations.
